The Two-fold Aspect of the Promises to Abraham
Judah's Scepter and Joseph's
Chapter 9 - Birthright Wealth
Read again the prophetic promises of Genesis 22:17 and 24:60. Since the Birthright pertains to NATIONS, the GATE of our enemies would be such passes as Gibraltar, Suez, Singapore, Panama Canal, etc. Britain and America came into possession of every such major "gate" in this world! Therefore, we MUST be modern Israel. World War II hinged on these "gates." They had become not only strategic passes, but the world's greatest fortifications. However, today, we have lost most of them, most recently, the Panama Canal--and it appears that others, too, will be lost. Why? Notice:
Gen 39:23 "The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph's authority, because YHWH was with him; and whatever he did, YHWH made it prosper."
In addition, the Mighty One did prosper Joseph's descendants, Britain and America, with the fabulous Birthright promised Joseph's sons! Consider Moses' dying prophetic blessing, foretelling what would happen to each of the tribes in these latter days:
Deut 33:13-17 (KJV) "And of Joseph he said, Blessed of YHWH be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath, and for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon, and for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, and for the precious things of the earth and the fullness thereof. ...let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph [Ephraim and Manasseh both]. ...his glory is like the firstling [firstborn-birthright holder] of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns [Great Britain's national seal today]: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh."
Whoever Ephraim and Manasseh are today, they must have been in possession of the earth's choicest agricultural, mineral, and other wealth--the great gold and silver mines; iron, oil, and coal; timber and other resources. What nations fulfil these prophecies? Why, only Great Britain and America!
After 1800 more than half of all tillable, cultivatable temperate-zone, lands of this earth came into the possession of our two great powers alone! Such as the rich agricultural lands of the Mississippi Valley; the vast wheat and grain fields of the Midwest, of Canada and Australia; the great forests of the Pacific Northwest and many other parts of the world. Also the gold fields of South Africa, Australia, Alaska and the United States; the great coal mines of the United States and British Isles; the natural waterfalls and means of power and consequent prosperous industrial and manufacturing districts of England and the eastern United States; the choicest fruit lands of our Pacific Coast and Florida. What other nations combined ever possessed such material wealth?
The Actual Statistics
Just to what extent has Almighty CREATOR fulfilled His promises in us to the descendants of Joseph in these latter years? Charles M. Schwab, steel magnate, said before the Massachusetts Bankers Association, January 5, 1921:- "Our United States has been endowed by 'God' with everything to make it and keep it the foremost industrial and commercial nation of the world."
In the 1950's, the United States and the British Commonwealth totally dominated the world's supply of all natural resources, livestock, foodstuff, fuels, electricity, merchant fleet tonnage, rail capacity, and manufactured goods. To just name a few* items the British Commonwealth completely dominated the production of chromate (from South Africa). The British Commonwealth produced two-thirds of the world's gold-about £266,000,000 ($642,000,000 in 1950)--while the United States had three times as much gold reserve as the total for the rest of the world. However, by 1966 the U.S. gold supply had been drained so much that the dollar was in serious jeopardy at that time. The United States has been a world leader in the airline industry, but the events in New York of September 11, 2001 has shown how fragile that can be.

World petroleum output in 1950 was almost 3,800 million barrels. Of this total, the United States alone produced more than one-half nearly 52%. Together, the British Commonwealth and the United States produced 60% of the crude petroleum, not including our vast foreign investments. However, by 1966 that 60% of the world's crude petroleum output, had been reduced to 32%. The year 1966 was a watershed year since it was the fateful year in which the British Colonial Office in London closed its doors, marking the official death of the British Empire.
Both England and the United States have become only a shell of what were in the 1950's. The British Empire is now a dead relic of its past glory. With the introduction of NAFTA, GATT, and the MAI treaty negotiations which began in 1997; the once proud United States is fast shrinking to the status of a third world country. The decline of the Birthright has continued and most major industrial complexes are now in Mexico or oversees. China produces the lion's share of items sold in America. We still have a mighty, military machine but we have all witnessed what has happened in New York.
Pat Buchanan recently [ 10/14/01 ] stated:

"Tuesday, the U.S. reported that industrial production fell for the 12th straight month. Bethlehem Steel became the latest U.S. Company to go Chapter 11. U.S. factories now produce at 75 percent of capacity. Last year, the U.S. trade deficit in manufactureds hit $324 billion and the merchandise trade deficit $450 billion. The de-industrialization of America is well advanced."
How Did We Get It All?
How did we come into possession of all this vast wealth of the earth? Did we acquire it through our own human wisdom, foresight, energy, ability, and power? Let Abraham Lincoln answer:-
"We find ourselves in the peaceful possession of the fairest portion of the earth, as regards fertility of soil, extent of territory, and salubrity* of climate, ...We... find ourselves the legal inheritors of these fundamental blessings. We toiled not in the acquirement or the establishment of them."
*Favorable to health or well-being.
Again, in his proclamation for April 30, 1863, for a nationwide day of fasting and prayer, this great president said:
-
"It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of 'God' ...and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the 'Holy Scriptures' and proven by all history, ...We have been the recipients of the choicest blessings of heaven. We have been they, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation ever has grown; BUT WE HAVE FORGOTTEN 'GOD'! We have forgotten the 'gracious Hand' which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own."
Abraham Lincoln saw a nation who had forgotten their CREATOR and we will see just how much in the next chapter. President Lincoln saw a nation drunk with a success not due to its own efforts--a nation taking all the credit and glory to itself. This great president called upon the nation for a day of FASTING and REPENTANT PRAYER--not just prayer and remembrance--to confess this national sin before their SOVEREIGN CREATOR. The fate of the nation was uncertain when he issued that proclamation. However, the Mighty One heard and answered that great national prayer offensive--because the 390 years of the Birthright blessing were not yet over--and the nation was then preserved!
However, today the threat to our fate is a thousand times more uncertain. In addition, today we do not have a President or a Prime Minister with the vision, understanding, nor courage to bring our nations to their knees in humble repentance before the true SOVEREIGN, 
, YHWH, our ETERNAL CREATOR!
Abraham Lincoln knew the great material blessings had not been earned, but had been given to our people by the SOVEREIGN of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel. Today we should face the facts and know that we were given all this vast unprecedented material wealth because our CREATOR promised it, unconditionally, to Abraham. Moreover, He promised it to ABRAHAM BECAUSE ABRAHAM OBEYED. HE KEPT CREATOR'S LAWS AND COMMANDMENTS.
The Birthright blessing was denied our ancestors after Moses' day because they REFUSED to live by the Mighty One's laws. ETERNAL is warning us today, through many prophecies in Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Micah, and others. He is telling us that unless we, of this generation, REPENT of our sins, and turn to Him with fasting, weeping, and earnest PRAYER; He will destroy our cities, all our fortresses, with a foreign sword. He will punish us at the hand of a CRUEL ONE, that we shall be invaded, defeated, and reduced to SLAVES! ETERNAL HELP US TO HEED THAT WARNING!
