The Two-fold Aspect of the Promises to Abraham

And Now What? The Prophecies for the Immediate Future
THE BIRTHRIGHT, ONCE WE RECEIVED it, was STUPENDOUS, AWESOME, unequalled among nations or empires! But what have our peoples done with that awesome blessing? They were still ISRAELITES, although they themselves do not know it! They were still rebellious, stiff-necked, stubborn!
Once the British and Americans peoples--the "lost" Israelites now supposing they are Gentiles--found themselves basking in the pleasant sunshine of such wealth and power, they were less willing than their ancient forefathers to yield to their CREATOR and HIS WAYS. They felt no need for Him, now! It seems few ever turn to their CREATOR until they find themselves in desperate need or trouble.
After withholding the Birthright promises until He chose the time to bestow 390 years of FREEDOM on the descendants of Joseph, the Mighty One suddenly conferred on us national blessings unparalleled in history--He kept the unconditional promise to Abraham! He kept His promise to Abraham although our peoples deserved nothing from Him. He is no longer obligated by His promise, to continue supporting our undeserving peoples in world prestige, wealth, and greatness. Once we had been given such unrivaled position, it was up to us, whether we should keep it.
In Leviticus 26:1-12 (NIV) ETERNAL lists the conditions of His promise. In verse 13 He reminds us who He is, "For I am YHWH your SOVEREIGN." He also tell us that He gave us FREEDOM, "I have broken your chains so that you can walk with dignity," then He states:
Lev 26:14-16 "But if you will not listen to Me or obey Me, but reject My laws, this is what I will do to you..."
Then ETERNAL lists six stages of punishments to fall on Israel for disobedience.
- First Stage
- (Vs 16-17)
He states: "...I will bring upon you sudden terror" that certainly happened on September 11, 2001, and "wasting diseases and fever that will destroy your sight and drain away your life." The only thing the news media seems to be reporting is the Anthrax and other biological, chemical things coming upon our nation. "You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it."- Second Stage
- (Vs 18-20)
"If after all this you will not listen to Me, I will punish you for your sins seven times over"--meaning an increase in intensity sevenfold. "I will break down your stubborn pride..." For "stubborn pride" the King James states He will "break the pride of your power." ETERNAL could not speak about breaking the pride of our national POWER until after that Birthright had been bestowed! We had great pride in that national power--in our national prestige prior to W.W.II. However, today even little nations dare to insult, trample on, or burn the United States flag--and the United States, still having power, does no more than issue a weak protest! What has happened to the PRIDE of our power? We have already LOST IT! True we bomb small powerless countries but we shall see where it leads.
Continuing "...and make the sky above you like iron and the ground beneath you like bronze. Your strength will be spent in vain, because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of the land yield their fruit." Other prophecies reveal we are to have drought and famine and that disease epidemics will follow, taking millions of lives. Drought and famine do not necessarily have to come form lack of rain. A terrorist biological attack combined with shutting off electricity to pump water and process food would have that same effect. Nevertheless, will America and Britain heed? They never have! Then what? After all that, THEN WHAT?- Third Stage
- (Vs 21-22)
Again a sevenfold increase in intensity, then ETERNAL states "...I will send wild animals against you, and they will rob you of your children, destroy your cattle and make you so few in number that your roads will be deserted."
Therefore, if twenty-first century Ephraim and Manasseh--Britain and America--refuse to turn to their CREATOR in obedience and refuse to live the way that causes, retains, and increases blessings, the Mighty One will punish them in a manner far more INTENSE. He will entirely strip away this colossal, unprecedented national blessing and return them to captivity and slavery--as continuing verses of this prophecy show.
Do you think so great a fall could not come to such great powers as Britain and America? Do you say, "It cannot happen HERE?" Do you think the GREAT CREATOR who was able to GIVE us such unprecedented world leadership and power and wealth is not able to take it away from us and throw us, like our ancient forefathers, back into SLAVERY?
You need to OPEN YOUR EYES to the fact that Britain's sun has already SET! You need to WAKE UP to the fact that the United States, even still possessing unmatched POWER, is afraid and filled with fear. The Mighty One said: "I will break the PRIDE of your POWER" and that the United States has stopped winning wars--that America was unable, with all its vast power, to conquer little North Vietnam! In addition, in Somalia we tucked our tail and ran for cover because some local "warlord" did not like us and before that was the Bay of Pigs fiasco. Yes, we slammed insignificant Panama and Grenada. Then with the world's help we were slamming Iraq--but quit before finishing the job! Now, with the world's help, and with their consent, we are now slamming Afghanistan. President Bush has asked NATO to protect us and to this date, they have sent Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), electronic monitoring planes. An AP story, dateline Brussels:

The Handwriting is on the Wall!
You need to UNDERSTAND the remainder of this prophecy of Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 28, and the many prophecies relating to them and events soon to VIOLENTLY affect YOUR life!You need to look at the prophecies describing how much more intense is the punishment our CREATOR is going to lay on the British and American people. For MANY prophecies, warn us of a CERTAINTY that it will be trouble such as NEVER happened to any nation or people!
Now that you know the Scriptural identity of the British and American peoples--Ephraim and Manasseh-- you need to become AWARE of what is said about us in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, Hosea, Amos, and the other prophecies as well as in these prophecies written by Moses!
In addition, you need to know why our just and loving CREATOR is going to punish His chosen people--people He chose for a glorious PURPOSE we have refused to perform.
The very fact of punishment implies CORRECTION. We need to understand that correction is applied to correct WRONG WAYS harmful to us--to turn us around into RIGHT WAYS that will cause desired blessings! Understand! ETERNAL punishes every son He loves (Prov 13:24).
In addition, understand human nature! Human nature wants to consider itself good, while it wants only to do evil (Jer 17:9). It wants the good result. Nevertheless, it wants to receive the good while it sows the evil. It somehow fails to grasp the truth that, "as we sow, so also shall we reap"! It is all a matter of CAUSE and EFFECT!
CREATOR's punishment only reflects His LOVE--turning us from causing evil results to the way that brings happy results! The Mighty One is now about to STOP US from bringing colossal evils on ourselves! ETERNAL is not angry because we are harming HIM--but because we are harming ourselves--those whom He loves!
Punishment Is Correction
The prophecies do not stop with revealing the unprecedented, multiplied intensity, of punishment already descending upon America and Britain. The prophecies also record the result of that intensified punishment. The result will be a corrected people. The result will be an eye-opening realization of what we have done to ourselves. The supreme punishment will teach us, at last, our lesson! The punishment will break our spirit of REBELLION! It will lift us up from the cesspool of rottenness and evil we have sunk into. It will teach us the way to unlimited peace, prosperity, and abundant wellbeing! Correction means a change of course. It means REPENTANCE--and repentance means turning around and going the OTHER WAY!On beyond the frightful national calamities now descending upon us will come a BLESSING inconceivably greater than the national material Birthright we have possessed. We have to learn that material things are not the source of happiness. Material prosperity is indeed desirable--but it is not the source of happiness.
After all, real happiness is a spiritual commodity! The Birthright was only one of TWO major promises ETERNAL made to Abraham. The Scepter promise involved not only a dynasty of human kings, but it points primarily to the coming Mashiach and his peaceful reign.
Now, before I give you these sensational prophecies, understand WHY national punishment must come, and who needs the correction! ONLY those who are sowing EVIL need it--who are transgressing CREATOR's right WAYS, His law! And UNDERSTAND THIS: Although the NATIONS as a whole are to be put through this unprecedented punishment, yet only those individuals who yield to accept ETERNAL's ways shall enter the Davidic Kingdom of peace.
Sevenfold More Plagues
Now notice again what is written in Leviticus 26, continuing with the six stages of punishments to fall on Israel for disobedience:- Fourth Stage
- (Vs 23-26)
Again a sevenfold increase in intensity, then ETERNAL states if we "...do not accept My correction but continue to be hostile toward Me, I myself will be hostile toward you... In addition, I will bring the sword upon you to avenge the breaking of the Covenant. When you withdraw into your cities, I will send a plague among you, and you will be given into enemy hands. When I cut off your supply of bread ...they will dole out the bread by weight. You will eat, but you will not be satisfied." What people do not seem to realize is that SIN DOES BRING UPON THE SINNER THE CONSEQUENCES OF SIN--the plagues of suffering. The Scripture defines sin as the breaking of CREATOR's law (Amos 2:4). Our SINS will bring punishment.- Fifth Stage
- (Vs 27-31)
Again a sevenfold increase in intensity if we continue to be hostile to ETERNAL's ways. This time He adds "...in My anger I will be hostile toward you, and I Myself will punish you" and "...you will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters." That is total starvation, like the Donner Party stranded in the Sierra Nevada mountains; that ate each other to survive the winter. After that, He states He will tear down the false churches and destroy the idols. Then He "...will turn your cities into ruins and lay waste your sanctuaries..." That cherished fellow citizens, is total destruction of all the material things that we the people hold dear. Up to this point, however, we still have our FREEDOM.- Sixth Stage
- (Vs 32-39)
Abraham was told in Gen 15:13 that his descendants would serve 400 years in Egyptian slavery. Thus, the awesome Birthright promises will end as they began, in slavery. Notice this sad fact: "I will lay waste the land ...I will scatter you among the nations [captivity] and will draw out My sword and pursue you. Your land will be laid waste, and your cities will lie in ruins. Then the land will enjoy its Sabbath years all the time that it lies desolate and you are in the country of your enemies..." We have spurned the Sabbath, therefore, "...All the time that it [the land] lies desolate, the land will have the rest it did not have during the Sabbaths you lived in it. As for those of you who are left [alive], I will make their hearts so fearful in the lands of their enemies [captivity and slavery]. ...You will perish among the nations; the land of your enemies will devour you. Those of you who are left will waste away in the lands of their enemies because of their sins; also because of their fathers' sins they will waste away."
Get the real meaning of this! This is punishment we have brought on ourselves. We have brought the consequences of SIN on ourselves--now the Mighty One, Himself will bring on us punishment that is CORRECTION!
Our Creator Is Going To Keep Multiplying Chastening Until Our Peoples Turn To The Ways That Cause Peace, Happiness, Prosperity, And All The Material Blessings!
How UNTHINKABLE! That, our Maker shall have to force us to be happy, to have peace, to be able to enjoy prosperity, to yield, to accept--our own choice--eternal life in abundant well-being and joy for all eternity!
How UNBELIEVABLE! That human nature, desiring these blessings, has insisted stubbornly in going the way that cuts them off and then refuses to be corrected until it is MULTIPLIED in intensity sevenfold, four successive times!
How GREAT is our CREATOR and WHAT LOVE for our peoples He expresses, in patiently tolerating and correcting us UNTIL we accept His boundless BLESSINGS!
