Isaiah Chapter 53
King James Version

by Betty Matteson Rhodes

Isa 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the YHWH revealed?

I don't know who else - I'm sure there are many; but to Betty Matteson Rhodes the report mentioned above was revealed to Moses by YHWH Himself, and she believeth it to be a true report. Here is the report:
EDITORS NOTE: Charles J. Voss also believeth it to be a true report.

Isa 53:2 For he shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

This is describing the Jewish people. A tender plant meaning small in number and a vulnerable people. Loved by ETERNAL but hated by man. A root out of a dry ground meaning the Israelites descend from Abraham, they were not of this earth, but from the Mighty One. This chapter of Isaiah is speaking only about the people from the tribe of Judah, not the entirety of Israel.

The Jews (from Judah) were to be the only tribe identified by the world (for the other remaining tribes, except some Levites and Benjaminites who accompanied the Jews), as YHWH's chosen people. The Jews would be the only tribe who held the namesake of CREATOR's chosen people. The other tribes became divorced from ETERNAL, until the latter days.

The Jews held no great beauty that attracted the world to them, quite the opposite in fact - the world wished they did not exist. This was the plan of ETERNAL, however. The Jews would suffer for all of Israel. Just as Abraham was willing to sacrifice his favorite son, Isaac, CREATOR was willing to sacrifice his favorite son, Judah, and hence they have suffered for your sake and for my sake - and how do we thank them? We want the Jews wiped clean away - off the face of earth.

Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

The following is according to the New Testament: The only men "Jesus" was 'rejected' by was a handful of Jews just prior to his crucifixion. And this was merely to say 'no, he isn't our Messiah.' Thousands, if not millions, of Jews have converted to "Christianity" - a mere handful said he wasn't the Messiah they were waiting for - this is not mass rejection. They would reject anyone if the criteria for the 'anointed one' were not met. The Galilean preached and taught for only three years which hardly qualifies him for a man of sorrows medal. The Jews have suffered for thousands of years. "Jesus" didn't seem to have too much trouble getting multitudes to follow him, and what grief did he encounter that was any greater than any other man or woman on the face of the earth at that time.

Don't think the people have hid their faces from "Jesus" either, we have set our calendars for his birth - BC and death - AD The man from Galilee has millions and millions of followers today, which began in the first and second centuries. Just look at all the churches erected in this country alone - all in the name of "Christianity."

Who despised "Jesus"? No one except those particular Romans in his last days on earth - the ones who had him put to death for treason against Caesar. The Romans shortly afterward excepted "Jesus" and made "Christianity" a mandatory religion in fact. The Romans became his biggest supporters and you think "Jesus" was not esteemed? This is far from being true. Of all the prophets and Messiahs of any era, "Jesus" was then, and still is, the most esteemed Messiah of them all. Folks don't be fooled - look at the overall picture. Look at the past 2000 years. Look at the past 4000 years. Does "Jesus" really qualify for any of the things in verse 3 above? I can honestly say, he doesn't.

Who does qualify? Judah. The Jews. The Jewish people themselves. He (Judah - meaning the descendants of) were despised then, still are, they have been rejected of men then and now, they are a man of sorrows big time - then, now, and in between times. The Jews know what grief is for sure - for 4000 years - if you don't believe this - talk to some Orthodox Jews sometime and learn what they have gone through. We have hid our faces from Judah/Jews - most recently during Hitler's reign. Talk to some survivors from Germany that have lost their mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, grandparents. What about the shipload of Jews that neither England or America would accept and sent back to Germany?

Yes, Hitler wanted to rid the world of the Jews because they were the known part of CREATOR's chosen people, not for any other reason. Think about it. If Hitler was sent by Satan to rid the world of CREATOR's chosen people, why didn't he target "Christians"? Satan wanted to erase the Jews - for only the Jews did/now know who The Mighty One is and know his law. The "Christians" posed no threat to Satan. None whatsoever, they worship a triple or double godhead on the first day of the week. Think about it. Think long and hard about it. We didn't want to know what was happening to the Jews - don't tell us what we don't want to know - we did nothing to save six million of these men/women/children of sorrow and grief. They were, and are now, literally despised by most races of the world. We esteem them not - why? - because "Christians" think the Jews are wrong and they are right - we give them no esteem at all - "Christians" only want to convert them, Muslims only want to kill them, the heathen just hate them period.

Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of CREATOR, and afflicted.

Judah surely has borne the burden for the entirety of Israel. The rest of Israel is as many as the sands on the shore, as the stars in the heavens - they have now been positively identified. The number of them is in the millions of millions. Because all of Israel has sinned greatly, and especially the other tribes, Judah has borne the sins for all of the Israelites, simply because they know of ETERNAL and His Sabbath law. Most Gentile "Christians" ARE Israelites. The Jews have been suffering for us all. Wake up people.

Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

See above paragraph. The Jews have been wounded for our sins, bruised for our iniquities. The whole enchilada - the Jews have been through it all - for us - but alas we could not care less.

Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and YHWH hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

The 'we' here is the other Israelites. We became 'lost'. We went astray - and how. We went north, south, east, west - every tribe in his own way. ETERNAL has laid upon Judah the iniquity of all the tribes. Why? Because of all 13 tribes on them have kept the Sovereign's sign of the Sabbath and even know who He is.

Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Judah (the Jews) has been oppressed, they were afflicted, yet they opened not their mouth - is this true or not. They were brought as a lamb (think about it - how they marched into those German trains like sheep for the slaughter and opened not their mouth to protest). Even "Jesus" protested when he said, "why hath thou forsaken me," and "Lord if it be possible, let this cup pass from me". It was the Jews who were the lamb of the Mighty One of Israel.

Isa 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of My people was he stricken.

When was "Jesus" ever in prison? Maybe for a couple of days, maybe? The Jews were held prisoners for years and years. Seventy years under the Babylonian siege alone, where most strong healthy men were killed, others were imprisoned. They were cut off from their homeland - for hundreds, and thousands of years. What other people have been cut off from their homeland in such a manner as the Jews? Cut off for the transgression of the Israelites - all twelve tribes of ETERNAL's people. For CREATOR so loved the whole of Israel that he gave his favorite son, Judah, to be the lamb for all of Israel. Why? To carry forth the knowledge of Him, His laws, and His Sabbath - otherwise they would be lost to the world just like the Ten Tribes. Not that they technically obey it but they have not lost it and that is why they were chosen.

Isa 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

The Jews are buried from here to Germany, from Rome to Egypt. The Jews are buried in the lands of their enemy, and in the lands of their own brothers who have turned on them. The Jews have not been a violent people. They never were a violent people. The land of Israel may appear to be aggressive in this decade, but that is because their time of suffering (as lambs) is over. They will no longer be killed because of the sins of all Israel, we are on our own now. They fight back now because they can now - their time of suffering (as a lamb) has ended. The prophesy of Ezekiel four and five state the that Jerusalem will be burned and the fire will spread over all of Israel. Then CREATOR Himself will emerge to fight with them, against the enemies of Judah - and in the final battle against the enemies of Israel.

Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased YHWH to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of YHWH shall prosper in his hand.

ETERNAL CREATOR loved all of Israel enough to allow his favorite son, Judah to suffer the bruises. ETERNAL allowed the grief and suffering of the Jews in order to . But Judah shall live to see his seed, his descendants, and their days will be prolonged. They were not completely destroyed from off the face of the earth, a remnant of Jews remain. It will be the pleasure of ETERNAL CREATOR to allow the Jews to prosper. And they will prevail above all other people. It is written that they shall. THE MIGHTY ONE desires it.

Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall My righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

The Mighty One shall see the travail of the soul of Judah (Jews) and will say, "Enough already, They have suffered long enough for the sins of My chosen people, Israel. The Jews have been His righteous servant, who has justified many, for they have borne the iniquities of us all.

Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Therefore, The Mighty One will divide the Jews (from Judah) a portion with the great nations. ETERNAL will divide the spoil of the strong with the Jews, because they have poured out their soul unto death. They were counted as transgressors (by Christians and Muslims alike), and have borne the sins for all Israel, and were made the intercessor for sinners.
May YHWH bless each and every Jew on the face of the earth now, then, and in-between times! So Be It.
