The Understanding of Isaiah 53

The Understanding of Isaiah 53 is truly one of the "Mysteries of the Ages." TO UNRAVEL THE MYSTERY--WE MUST KNOW THE ETERNAL CREATOR of the Cosmos. We must quest for the Designer of the universes Who has an overall plan for ALL the inhabitants of earth. Have you ever laid on your back in the grass at night, looking up at the multitudes of universes and each with innumerable stars and wondered about the power required to keep them all in place. This is not even considering the construction of the layers of universes composing the Cosmos. Have you ever gazed into an intricately delicate beautiful flower and wondered, “Why are we here?” or “What is the purpose of life?” We will not answer all the questions, but these articles should give you a good start in finding those answers. To Quest for the Ancient of Days is very simple. Read the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament, Tanakh) and simply believe and then do what they state as they are perfect (Psalms 18:30). No other book is needed; no personal advisor is needed. What it states is what it means. The Hebrew Scriptures states that ONE Being (Deuteronomy 4:35) created this entire cosmos (Genesis 1:1) and created human life (Genesis 1:27) on planet earth. This Mighty One gave us a righteous standard to live by (Psalms 119:172) and since all sin—breaking His righteous standard (Amos 2:4)—is against Him (Psalms 51:4) therefore, only He can forgive sin (Isaiah 43:25-26). Moreover, He alone is our Savior (Hosea 13:4). He gives us His Commandments because He loves us and the Commandments are for our well being. ETERNAL is the most loving Father there could ever be.[1] These Commandments constitute a high and righteous standard for us humans to live by. Many say the Commandments cannot be understood and many say that the standard is too high and we cannot live by it. Did you know these excuses are not modern new age thoughts? The Children of Israel also gave them to Moses in the desert and this was his answer to them... Deuteronomy 30:11-16 (NLB).[2] ”...Obeying these Commandments is not something beyond your strength and reach; for these laws are not in the far heavens, so distant that you can’t hear and obey them, and with no one to bring down to you; nor are they beyond the ocean, so far that no one can bring you their message; but they are very close at hand--in your hearts and on your lips--so obey them.” We have access to much knowledge in these latter days (Daniel 12:4). We can read His words that He has given us and learn directly from Him. Is it hard to do the CREATOR’s Will? No, not at all! We just have to make up our minds that what He says is what we are going to do and follow through with it. Where it becomes hard to follow the Commandments is when we look to man, government, society, family, etc. to get their approval instead of looking to our SOVEREIGN for His backing and approval. Nevertheless, let us consider Adam and Eve—they were sent out into the world unprepared—they had no clue what to expect. WHY? Why would a loving CREATOR send them out into the world so unprepared? Why would a loving CREATOR create a new type of being fashioned after Himself and just let the adversary[3] have a clear opportunity to lead them astray? So why, didn’t the SOVEREIGN know that the adversary would tempt humankind into all sorts of wrong religious practices that would bring unhappiness? Yes, He knew. So, why did He set the world up this way? Because He is seeking a staff of people who have learned from the hard knocks of following the red flags we should not overlook in life. He wants to find people that will heed His ancient writings and seek Him out. People who are tired of the pain in the “school of hard knocks.” People who cry out to Him for forgiveness and for the gift of His Spirit moreover, He gives us His love. People who will use the gift of His love to teach others—if not in this world then they are preparing to use the gift in The Wonderful World of Tomorrow. Some might say we are commanded to love ETERNAL (Deuteronomy 6:5; 30:16) and there is no love given in return, but that is not correct. There is a streaming torrent of love that flows from Him. Human kind, made in His Own Image, has rejected that love beginning with Adam and Eve. They did not care for their Maker; they cared more for satisfying their own feelings. All humans let their feelings get in the way of doing what is right as defined by the Ancient Writings we call Scripture. We forget to remember that the inspiration behind those Ancient Words was provided by the Ancient of Days who started with only Himself and His energy and created and formed the cosmos and all that is in it. He did that for one reason. What is that reason? He CREATED all of this to produce millions upon millions of human beings in a learning and testing situation. Why is that? He is looking for a staff to teach the rest of humanity in The Wonderful World of Tomorrow. Why? So that He will have a family of millions, no billions that want to dwell with Him as He is desirous to dwell with us, His children. The entire chapter of Isaiah 53 is a very intense attempt to make Scripture give an entirely different meaning than was intended when it was written. However, before we even think about Isaiah 53 there are some misconceptions that various religions have put into our minds that are not quite the truth, well to be candid about it we have been fed lies by all religions. To understand the messages of the Hebrew Scriptures[4] there are several misconceptions that must first be corrected. For example one religion says their savior was born of a virgin. This misconception is based upon a mistranslation of a word in the Hebrew Scriptures. This mistranslation indicates some monkeying around with the Scripture, probably by the Midnight Monks, as these words were mistranslated from the Hebrew into the Greek and then into the English Bibles. This is explained in our first article. “Proof-texting” is a popular practice used by some people trying to prove some particular doctrine. The “expert” will read an excerpt or part of a verse, usually completely out of context, without any explanation of the story flow, to try to "prove" their point about a different subject. Our second example is proof-texting pure and simple in an attempt to lead people astray concerning the false savior mentioned above and the piercing of his hands. This is explained by our second article and from there we will go into Isaiah 53 to understand the mystery that it hidden there. After that we need background on the Jews and how they fit into a discussion of Isaiah 53. The goal of this issue of the Hope of Israel is to share what we have learned on our Quest of understanding Isaiah 53. We are not perfect and we are not asking you to believe what we say just because we said it. We are asking you to find out for yourselves if these words are true or not. TO UNRAVEL THE MYSTERY--WE MUST KNOW THE ETERNAL CREATOR of the Cosmos. We must quest for the Designer of the universes Who has an overall plan for ALL the inhabitants of earth.

To Quest for the Ancient of Days is very simple. Read the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament, Tanakh) and simply believe and then do what they state as they are perfect (Psalms 18:30).
