A question which we, of United Hebrew Congregations often receive from 'Christians' and 'Messianics' is, "Why don't you believe in 'Jesus' or 'Yahshua'." Their reasoning seems to be that "If you Hebrews had the sense to see the falsehood in the Talmud, surely you can see that 'Jesus' must be the Messiah." After all, continues the 'Christian' reasoning, "'Jesus' coming is mentioned in the Old Testament (Hebrew Scriptures). Well isn't it?"
So why is it that we Hebrews "ignore" or "reject" the "Christological prophecies" in the Tanakh? The answer is quite simple really, and it applies equally to all groups that use the New Testament as well as those that use the Talmud. We reject both works because both works quote "Biblical" passages out of context and give them interpretations divorced from the plain and clear meaning of the text in the Hebrew Scriptures (Tanakh) that they were taken from. For this study, the case in point is the famous "Christological" passage in Isaiah 53, which describes the suffering servant of ETERNAL whom "Christians" identify as "Jesus."
Who is this suffering servant if not "Jesus?" This question is answered in the titles below. We suggest you read them from the top down,
