Shalom believers of the One Holy One of Israel,
We welcome you to our newsletter Wake Up Call. It is a Wake Up Call for all of Israel in these, the latter days. The following is quoted from The Living Bible for its ease of readability. For the words "Lord" and "God", we will use ETERNAL and CREATOR respectively.
Isa. 52:1
2 Rise from the dust, Jerusalem; take off the slave bands from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
3 For ETERNAL says, "When I sold you into exile, I asked no fee from your oppressors; now I can take you back again and owe them not a cent!
4 My people were tyrannized without cause by Egypt and Assyria, and I delivered them.
5 "And now, what is this?" asks ETERNAL. "Why are My people enslaved again and oppressed without excuse? Those who rule them shout in exultation and My name is constantly blasphemed day by day.
6 Therefore, I will reveal My name to My people, and they shall know the power in that name. Then at last they will recognize that it is I, yes, I, who speaks to them."
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who bring the happy news of peace and salvation, the news that the CREATOR of Israel reigns.
8 The watchmen shout and sing with joy, for right before their eyes they see ETERNAL our CREATOR bring His people home again.
9 Let the ruins of Jerusalem break into joyous song, for ETERNAL has comforted His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 ETERNAL has bared His holy arm before the eyes of all the nations; the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our CREATOR.
Brethren the hour is late and the time is near. Looking at the world around us it is apparent that the wolf is even now, near the door. We must individually endeavor to make our relationship with our CREATOR solid, like a house of bricks and not of straw or sticks that will easily burn and blow away. The next two readings are from the Tanakh.
Isa. 47 12 "Stand up, with your spells and your many enchantments
13 You are helpless, despite all your art.
14 See, they are become like straw,
No fire to sit by!
Mal. 3:19 "For lo! That day is at hand, burning like an oven. All the arrogant and all the doers of evil shall be straw, and the day that is coming' said ETERNAL of Hosts, 'and shall burn them to ashes and leave of them neither stock nor boughs.
On which you labored since youth!
Perhaps youíll be able to profit,
Perhaps you will find strength.
Let them stand up and help you now,
The scanners of heaven, the star-gazers,
Who announce, month by month,
Whatever will come upon you.
Fire consumes them;
They cannot save themselves
From the power of the flame;
This is no coal for warming oneself,
15 This is what they have profited you 'The traders you dealt with since youth.' Each has wandered off his own way, There is none to save you.
48:1 Listen to this, O House of Jacob, Who bear the name Israel and have issued from the waters of Judah, Who swear by the name of ETERNAL and invoke the CREATOR of Israel 'Though not in truth and sincerity'
20 But for you who revere My name a sun of victory shall rise to bring healing. You shall go forth and stamp like stall-fed calves,
21 and you shall trample the wicked to a pulp, for they shall be dust beneath your feet on the day that I am preparing'said ETERNAL of Hosts.
ETERNAL is now waking us up; allowing us to see His truth and we all need to wash ourselves of the filth we have accumulated and be CLEAN before ETERNAL. Notice in the above scripture Isa. 52:9-10; "The Salvation of our ETERNAL." Salvation belongs to HIM alone, it is HIS to freely give. We have been in a deep slumber and it is now time to awake and Hear the Words of ETERNAL. My deepest desire is for Israel to come to repentance and most especially our friends and family that we love. May our CREATOR Grant Peace and Understanding, Charles J. Voss
